As Sugary As Vanellope

If you are following me on Twitter, I am sure you know that I couldn't move on with Wreck-It Ralph. I have a hangover that I want to view the movie over and over again!! Wreck-It Ralph is by far the awesomest cartoon film ever!!! It's very creative and really heartwarming (truth be told: I cried.). Mind you, its story is unpredictable that it caught me thinking: "What's next?". Words aren't even enough to describe the movie itself, so do watch it and I guarantee you that it's worth every penny! :) In addition, Paperman, the short animation that goes with it, also brought the movie house down.

So, now, let me share my most favorite character...

Yes, Vanellope von Schweetz (adorable name!!). She is such a cutie!! If only she's real, I would pinch her cheeks and hug her! I can't resist her character--spirited, sassy, spunky! I love her so much! Actually, I deleted my current laptop's background and replaced it with her amiable face! :)

Sources: Google and Disney Wiki

Since I can still feel the Wreck-It Ralph hype, I was motivated to dress up earlier!

Oasis cardigan | Topshop skirt | Liz Claiborne bag | River Island ice cream socks | Sicko balloons sneakers |
Colorful necklace (gift from Amy) | Vicenza butterfly necklace

Can you guess who was my inspiration for this kind of getup? It's Vanellope. I didn't imitate her look precisely, but I hope you can see the resemblance. I should also be putting candy clips on my hair, but unfortunately I failed to find them and resorted to wearing these rainbow-colored necklaces (which I believe looked like candies... on my neck though. Haha!). Vanellope-inspired, check!--I hope you dears agree with me!! Haha! :)

Once Upon A Fairytale

Topshop denim midriff | DIY lavender maxi skirt with slit | Pastel-colored necklace (gift from Amy) | Aldo black and gold bib necklace | Topshop armor cuff | Gold teddy bear bracelet (gift from Mom) | Gold hearts bracelet (girft from Tita Belle) |
ZARA black platforms

Yesterday alone was already a very very special day. It's not like any other day. There's a little (or big, I must say) difference though. Well, I won't go into details or whatever. I am just happy that it turned out fun and memorable. Maybe, not today. There's still tomorrow... but when will that tomorrow be?

Anyway, I know you're all waiting for this outfit post! Hahaha! I kid! :) Obviously, this was my look last night at Amy's Debut. The theme was pastel and you know that I have a heart for anything that screams sweet and dainty (well, not over-the-top girlishness)! My original plan was a different top--MTO cutout top--but unfortunately, it didn't arrive on time. I really felt sad and disappointed. But thankfully, this denim midriff rescued me. The skirt was designed by me and asked my grandma for help in sewing this. I am still in awe with the outcome! Such a gorgeous piece, indeed. With the accessories, I put on this colorful necklace (given by Amy) to give a fun twist, and used gold bracelets and cuff to add elegance. I toned down the whole outfit donning black pieces; hence the bib necklace and the black heels. All in all, I loved everything from my hair and makeup (I did it myself! Hee!) down to my look.

P.S. What are your insights about my outfit, dears? I hope you love it too!! :)

Amelyzza At Eighteen

Last night was an enchanting moment for my very close friend, Amelyzza. It was her debut celebration at The Grand Terrace. Everything was magical--the venue, food, guests, and she herself. So, without further ado, I will let these photos do the talking for now. :)

I was actually part of the 18 candles and since I broke my promise (that I'll be performing) to Amy (please don't judge, my throat was not in a really good condition), I sang the chorus of True Colors during my speech.

I see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid
To let them show
Your true colors
True colors
(You) are beautiful
Like a rainbow

Albeit SPG (my barkada) was not complete, it was still one for the books!! Happy Birthday again, Amy! Always remember, you are beautiful in every aspect. Thank you for everything! Love you, girl! :)

P.S. Watch out for my outfit post! It's up next!!! :)
