Once Upon A Fairytale

Topshop denim midriff | DIY lavender maxi skirt with slit | Pastel-colored necklace (gift from Amy) | Aldo black and gold bib necklace | Topshop armor cuff | Gold teddy bear bracelet (gift from Mom) | Gold hearts bracelet (girft from Tita Belle) |
ZARA black platforms

Yesterday alone was already a very very special day. It's not like any other day. There's a little (or big, I must say) difference though. Well, I won't go into details or whatever. I am just happy that it turned out fun and memorable. Maybe, not today. There's still tomorrow... but when will that tomorrow be?

Anyway, I know you're all waiting for this outfit post! Hahaha! I kid! :) Obviously, this was my look last night at Amy's Debut. The theme was pastel and you know that I have a heart for anything that screams sweet and dainty (well, not over-the-top girlishness)! My original plan was a different top--MTO cutout top--but unfortunately, it didn't arrive on time. I really felt sad and disappointed. But thankfully, this denim midriff rescued me. The skirt was designed by me and asked my grandma for help in sewing this. I am still in awe with the outcome! Such a gorgeous piece, indeed. With the accessories, I put on this colorful necklace (given by Amy) to give a fun twist, and used gold bracelets and cuff to add elegance. I toned down the whole outfit donning black pieces; hence the bib necklace and the black heels. All in all, I loved everything from my hair and makeup (I did it myself! Hee!) down to my look.

P.S. What are your insights about my outfit, dears? I hope you love it too!! :)

When My OC-ness Fires Up

Say hello to my study-table-turned-table-display. I was really tempted to organize my room since I found it uninspiring. I began with my closet... and lately, my new accessories (how I wish the table is loooooong enough so I could also put my other accessories, too! Or buy a new stylish table, maybe?). As you can see, I DIY'd the earrings' stand using picture frames and lace. Beautiful yet resourceful, don't you think so (coz that's what I think! Haha!)? Ahhhhh, too many pretty things!! Seeing this fruit of my labor, I am beyond inspired and motivated.

P.S. I pray that everyone is safe and may the rain stop pouring already, cause I want to see how Mr. Sun shines... again.

Stuck In That Time

DIY Floral Crown

SM Department Store Socks | Camille Co's Qupid Wedges

How to brighten and jazz up an edgy look? Flaunt floral crowns! They really scream "summer". This was the floral crown I DIY'd last time. I just can't stand its cuteness!! I went for an edgy look (with a feminine twist) lately to break all the girly looks. So what do you think about this?

P.S. I am selling floral crowns like this one, dears! Just send me a message through gemnikka22@yahoo.com or tweet me! :)

Floral Crowns

Floral crowns are very trendy these days! I find them cute and worth-wearing. I have been looking for the perfect floral crown but unfortunately I never found one. Then, something just popped up in my mind! Why not make a do-it-yourself floral crown?! So...

I made a floral crown all by myself! Wait wait wait... not only one, but two floral crowns!

I will be selling this floral crown made out of love! Yes, cheesy! Hahaha! If you want to buy or request MTOs, just send me a message through my email gemnikka22@yahoo.com and we'll talk there.

P.S. Sorry for the low resolution, loves! I hope you love what I did!! :)

And hey, Happy Easter to everyone! Okay, going back to my outfit... as you can see, I dressed for summer but with the vintage vibe, still. I love everything here!! Don't You Leave Me Brokenhearted Tonight

Wrangler DIY Fringe Top | Zara Wool Skirt | Zara Chain Bag

Aldo Accessories

Disney Watch

Cousin's Socks | Bass Vintage Shoes

Hello to all my sweetest readers! Can I get a "yay!" for this post?! I was really worrying how to capture my outfit lately since my cam already gave up on me (really need to replace my cam!). Thank you to my cellphone's cam! You just saved my troubled soul. Hah! Its resolution is not bad at all. And as you can see, I did play around my pictures with vintage and retro effects. I am so loving pixlr-o-matic now! Great editor! I guess I'll be editing there a lot often... so expect my upcoming photos to be vintage-y.

May I now proceed to what I wore? Well, everything started with that very cute wool skirt from Zara. I love its color! And hey I just found out that I am beginning to be addicted to skirts. Yes, skirts. I was really happy when my uncle bought this for me yesterday. Such a surprise! He knows me really well. Hihi. I paired the skirt with an edgy fringe top (which I had its sleeves DIY-ed). Then, did my socks-in-shoes combo. I seriously need more statement closed shoes in my rack (up on my list!).

This, by far, is my favorite look!! I just love everything here from head to toe. It simply voices out my style - chic yet edgy. Yup, I think that really is my style. And I guess it suits me... my personality. I will be ending this post now, dears! I hope you enjoyed reading this post and seeing my latest look!
