New In: MAC Viva Glam I Lipstick

From an ocean of cosmetics, I would prolly glean lipsticks the most!! Yes, I am a self-confessed lipstick lover. Lipsticks are such makeup staples. You can actually go out with just donning a lippie! So, this was my latest buy. I cannot contain my happiness that I need to shout it out because this is my first ever lipstick from MAC!! I believe one should start investing in quality makeups since they are being applied on face. I find myself leaning towards dark shades to welcome fall (although, there's none here in the country) and to update my collection. Not to mention, fall colors are sophisticated and classy! With those reasons stated, I chose this Viva Glam I. It is a deep shade of red making it not too overwhelming. It is matte, very pigmented, and has a brown undertone. I can't tell more about it just yet because I just tried it for an hour. I experienced minimal drying within that time though. But all in all, this is promising!! I am really in love with its elegance (but the photo in which I had the lipstick on didn't serve justice). It is timeless. :)

New In: Maybelline Magnum Super Film Mascara

I recently bought this mascara from my favorite drugstore brand, Maybelline. Actually, I should be buying a set of falsies, but I had second thoughts and decided to purchase something I would really be needing. Well, a mascara didn't pop up in my mind eventually since I hate its life expectancy--prolly 3-5 months only. But because I miss using one and I think it's still a great buy, then there, I gave in and bought it!! I chose the super film because it is washable (no need for a makeup remover) and heard great reviews about it.

P.S. Tomorrow is really a pulchritudinous-and-beyond-special day. :)

When You Look Me In The Eyes

Today was the last day of the Finals! First sem is officially over... so, hello, sembreak!! :) Expect more posts from now on, dears. Yes? Yes!! :)

Anyway, since I was in a major boredom lately, I played around... with my makeup. Oh how I missed doing this! I actually shouldn't be blogging this cause I am no expert when it comes to beauty blogging. I just learned from tutorial videos and beauty blogs.

Going back, let me show you the outcome of my little "experiment". Let these pictures do the talking for now!

Here, I practiced my skills on smoky eyes. It's really my most favorite eye makeup! It is not only very easy but also versatile. This makeup is perfect from day to night wear!! But do make sure to use a natural-colored lipstick or a lipgloss to avoid being too over the top and highlight the eyes more.

Above is a sneak peek of the products I used in achieving such look! Sorry guys if I wasn't able to come up with a "tutorial" for this. I am quite hesitant of doing it and I am not yet ready. But if you want me to share my knowledge about makeup, I would gladly be more than willing to do it!! :)

This concealer gained sooooooo many raves here and there... and everywhere! I am not exaggerating; it's the truth, really!! Beauty bloggers find this particular item promising. And so, I got curious about this and said to myself: "Why not give it a try?". Since I am not that happy with the concealer I am currently using, I prefer to buy this and I just can't wait to try this on!
