Product Review: MAC Brave Lipstick

This MAC lipstick was with me for a month now and I have no regrets buying it. I know, I should have blogged my review for the MAC Viva Glam 1 lipstick first since I had it longer. But being a giddy girl, I am just excited to share how beautiful this particular lipstick is. Don't you worry, I will make a  "further" product review about the Viva Glam 1 too... soon, hopefully!

New In: MAC Viva Glam I Lipstick

From an ocean of cosmetics, I would prolly glean lipsticks the most!! Yes, I am a self-confessed lipstick lover. Lipsticks are such makeup staples. You can actually go out with just donning a lippie! So, this was my latest buy. I cannot contain my happiness that I need to shout it out because this is my first ever lipstick from MAC!! I believe one should start investing in quality makeups since they are being applied on face. I find myself leaning towards dark shades to welcome fall (although, there's none here in the country) and to update my collection. Not to mention, fall colors are sophisticated and classy! With those reasons stated, I chose this Viva Glam I. It is a deep shade of red making it not too overwhelming. It is matte, very pigmented, and has a brown undertone. I can't tell more about it just yet because I just tried it for an hour. I experienced minimal drying within that time though. But all in all, this is promising!! I am really in love with its elegance (but the photo in which I had the lipstick on didn't serve justice). It is timeless. :)

Revlon matte lipstick in Stormy Pink

When tried on

I have been planning to buy a showstopper pink lipstick. I wanted to buy the MAC Pink Nouveau or NARS Schiap but they're just too much for a lipstick (as for me). So, I checked out Revlon and found out that they sell a gorgeous pink lippie. After purchasing, I tried it immediately upon arriving home. It has a cool undertone. But it disappointed me with its pigmentation when applied to lips. I needed to swipe more just to achieve the color. I find it irritating. What a waste of time. Also, it made my lips look chapped because the color settled into the fine lines of my lips. I love the shade though!! So, I think I will just use a lip brush or maybe put a lip gloss on top so it won't make my lips dry. I don't think I will repurchase such. I might be splurging next time!

Power Shade!

Just got this lately. After receiving this, I can't wait to open and try it on my lips!!! I have been eyeing this for months now. And I am so happy having this bought. I got this from GWY Shop for only 120php (plus the shipping fee). It is much cheaper here compare to other beauty shops! Great steal, eh? In addition to that, we had a smooth transaction! Of course, thank you to Multiply for making shopping easier! I am thinking of buying Nyx Lipsticks again from GWY Shop. Well, I'll be thinking on that. ;)
